Savannah’s only family friendly Open Mic Night at the Sentient Bean, Pride edition! We will be live streaming the event for the audience who wants to stay home, but open in person for those who want to participate! Masks and social distancing will be required, with hand sanitizer and mic covers available. Presented by the Sentient Bean. FCPC Open Mic Night takes place at the Bean every 4th Thursday and is free and family friendly. To keep our community safe, the Pride edition will be entry by donation with only 40 RSVP slots available, so get them while you can! Hosted by the hilarious Brendan Townend!

The Municipal Archives continually strives to document Savannah's diverse communities, neighborhoods, and citizens. The addition of voices from the LGBTQ+ community will help ensure that we are preserving a more inclusive, informative, and complete history of Savannah and everyone that makes up Savannah's story. Specifically, panelists will discuss the purpose and function of emotions and how they can be regulated to help LGBTQIA+ individuals cope with social stressors. In addition, panelists will discuss how LGBTQIA+ persons can capitalize on emotional states to bring about greater well-being resources, including creativity, openness, love, and community.

Panelists will discuss common triggers for suicidal behavior in the LGBTQIA+ community and how to appropriately intervene with friends and family who are at-risk. Discussions will also highlight resources known to help LGBTQIA+ individuals recover and reclaim their identities with strength and resilience.
