Have you had a possible exposure to HIV or an STI in the last 72 hours?

What is PrEP, and is it right for me?

PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) is medicine – available as pills or shots – that are 99% effective at preventing HIV.

PrEP may be right for you if one or more of these statements is true:

  1. You don’t ALWAYS use condoms.

  2. You have recently had an STI.

  3. You have sexual partner(s) who don’t know their HIV status.

  4. You have sex in an area where HIV is more common.

  5. You use non-prescribed intravenous drugs.
