The Annual First City Network Food Drive hosted by the First City Pride Center
UPDATE: We will have a second drop location at Chippewa Square on Bull St.
For many years First City Network has had a Food Drive, during the December monthly social, to benefit the Thomas Park Food Pantry which helps to feed those in need.
This year will be slightly different. Even though our monthly socials have not been happening due to the Corona Virus Pandemic; we will still be doing the Food Drive.
The Food Drive this year will be in a contactless Drive-By format. On December 5th from 3 to 6 pm, volunteers will be in front of The First City Pride Center and in Chippewa Square to accept Non-Perishable Food donations as well as cash donations all to benefit Thomas Park Food Pantry.
With so many people struggling to make ends meet; the need this year is greater than ever.
The Thomas Park Food Pantry provides nutritional food to those in need every 2nd and 4th Tuesday from 7:30 to 8:30 am at the Food Pantry at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church on Bull Street.
This is an opportunity for all of us to show our pride in our community, to help those in need, and to wave a friendly hello to our friends who we have not seen for a long while.
