LGBTQ+ Safe Space Training Sign Up- November 8th

This 3 hour training includes activities and discussion on LGBTQ+ terms and concepts and affirming practices. Bi-monthly at First City Pride Center.

Created with materials from Fenway Institute and Safe Zone Higher Education Training, FCPC has developed our own Safe Space training lead by primarily transgender facilitators. This training details terms, concepts, examines personal biases through activities, provides resources, and gives tips on how to be affirming to the broader LGBTQ+ community. Each training is at First City Pride Center and capped at 10 participants.

Content advisory: This training is intended to increase education about LGBTQIA+ identities, and is especially informative for allies to the community. If you are trans/nonbinary, or would be uncomfortable discussing topics related to your identity, you may encounter difficult participant discussion. The training does not cover race, class, ability, religion, or other intersections of identity.
